Fuel Range Requirements
All motorcycles participating should be capable of a minimum safe fuel range of 220 km.
While fuel stops are planned conservatively, some rural sections have limited services.
Key notes:
• Longest fuel gaps occur on Day 2 and Day 6
• Fuel availability is limited on Waterfall Way (Day 7)
Recommendations:
• Riders with smaller tanks should consider auxiliary fuel
• Prove your fuel range before the event
Mechanical Preparedness
Motorcycles must be in sound mechanical condition
Tyres, brakes, chains, charging systems, and electrics should be checked prior to departure
Bikes should be inspected for oil leaks and fastener security
Riders are encouraged to carry basic tools and spares
A support vehicle and recovery trailer will accompany the ride to Mudgee and back to Queensland, however self-sufficiency is encouraged. To maintain flow if a repair can't be fixed in 10 minutes, the bike will be relegated to the DOCQ “Trailer of Shame” and taken to the next overnight destination.
Updates & Further Information
Any updates or changes will be published on the DOCQ website closer to the event.
